Mohammed Jalal & Sons (MJS) is a diversified business conglomerate, and one of the region’s most trusted business names. Founded in 1947 in the Kingdom of Bahrain by Mohammed Jalal, the Company has evolved to become a foremost business in the region with market leading operations throughout the GCC.

MJS activities represent a wide array of sectors. These include construction, oil & gas, contracting, engineering, trading, IT solutions, food and beverage, travel, pest control, interior design, lifts and escalators, water purification, security, facilities management and real estate to name a few.

The Company’s in depth local and regional know how, together with its vast international expertise, has seen MJS grow from strength to strength over the past 70 years. The Company has pioneered the introduction of innovative products and technologies, and continues to participate in landmark projects of national importance in Bahrain and throughout the region. The Company has also extended their reach beyond the GCC through the establishment of long term, successful partnerships with globally renowned brands including such names as Schindler, General Electric, British American Tobacco, Pultzmeister, and other world renowned brands. These tie ups have further solidified MJS’s reputation as a preferred business partner in the Kingdom of Bahrain – a country that is often referred to as “the Gateway to the Middle East”.

Founder’s Message

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Mohammed Jalal & Sons website. From modest beginnings almost 70 years ago, MJS has evolved into a trading, services and contracting powerhouse, with activities across a wide range of industries, and a geographical footprint that extends beyond the GCC and across the globe.


Although we have grown exponentially, I am proud to say that after seven decades, MJS remains a family business. The values of integrity, hard work, quality and transparency are weaved into the very fabric of our corporate culture, and continue to drive our business today.
