Job Description:
- Ensure alignment and implementation of JS purchasing strategies concerning Production Material, Non-Production Materials and Services, e-Procurement, spare parts, organization, tools, and systems.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
- Ensure supply, cost competitiveness and quality requirements fulfilment.
- Manage suppliers, including Global Contract Suppliers.
- Establish effective management tools, volume report, savings and performance measurement.
- Ensure and support full implementation of all Agreements (Local Purchase, Subcontractors, overseas purchase) and maximize their use.
- Negotiate overseas and local agreements or purchase orders, as required.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for local needs.
- Ensure supply and required quality and lead times.
- Follow best procurement practices.
- Make local purchase orders and supplier order processing at Branch level.
- Manage branch inventory.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate with good communication skill
- Additional qualification in procurement management will be an added advantage.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in handling commercial and procurement activities
